Current and Future Infrastructure Projects

Sidewalks, bike lanes and striping projects, and street light installations are key to increase mobility, promote safety and the better the quality of life for Tulsans and visitors to our city. Each are made possible through various plans and processes the City goes through in the planning and implementation process for capital projects.


 

 


The City invested $54 million in arterial and non-arterial street projects in 2023. 


2023 Quick Stats:

  • Completed eight non-arterial street rehabilitation projects, totaling 20.92 lane miles
  • Completed three arterial and non-arterial asphalt mill, patch and overlay projects totaling 18 lane miles
  • Completed 30 lane miles of arterial and non-arterial microsurfacing projects
  • Completed 3.2 lane miles of concrete street maintenance projects
  • Completed 45 lane miles of arterial and non-arterial cracking-sealing projects
  • Completed 32,532 square yards of sidewalks
  • Completed 501 ADA ramp installation projects

  • East 81st Street South, Sheridan Road to Memorial Drive (street widening)
  • East 81st Street, South Memorial Drive intersection (street rehabilitation)
  • East Apache Street, North Lewis Avenue to North Harvard Avenue (street rehabilitation)
  • East Apache Street, North Harvard Avenue intersection (street rehabilitation)
  • South 33rd West Avenue, 41st Street to 51st Street (street rehabilitation)
  • West 41st Street South, 41st West Avenue to 33rd West Avenue (street rehabilitation)
  • East Seventh Street South, between Detroit Avenue and Kenosha Avenue (street rehabilitation)
