Tulsa’s water won the Drinking Water Tasting Contest this week at the Oklahoma Water & Pollution Control Conference at Rose State College, Midwest City.
The City of Tulsa, in partnership with the Metropolitan Environmental Trust (The M.e.t.), will collect used cooking oils following the Thanksgiving holiday. This event will be held Saturday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Central M.e.t. Recycling Center, 3495 S. Sheridan Road.
