As part of the Resilient Tulsa strategy, Mayor G.T. Bynum and the Mayor’s Office of Resilience and Equity will host equity dinners to encourage constructive, meaningful conversations to bring understanding and unity amongst Tulsans of differing backgrounds.
The City of Tulsa will kick-off its 11th Annual Stock the Station Food Drive on Monday, Nov. 8 that will help Tulsans in need this holiday season. However, this year’s food drive will be virtual, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of dropping off non-perishable food items at City facilities, residents can make a monetary donation to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
In honor of Independence Day, City offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4th holiday.
Construction of a new bridge over Crow Creek at 3200 S. Peoria Ave. is complete and the road has reopened to traffic. Mayor G.T. Bynum and District 9 City Councilor Jayme Fowler celebrated the bridge opening at a news conference Monday morning.
When winter weather strikes, we're ready. We have 12,500 tons of salt, 170 employees, 66 truck-mounted salt spreaders, 45 truck-mounted snow plows, four trick-mounted Liquid Applicator Systems, seven 4x4 pick-ups equipped with snow plows, three motor graders for use as plows, and two salt brine mixing systems - all to treat 35 snow routes covering 1,770 lane miles.

Tuesday, the City of Tulsa was made aware the persons responsible for the May 2021 City of Tulsa ransomware attack shared more than 18,000 City files via the dark web mostly in the form of police citations and internal department files. Police citations contain some Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as name, date of birth, address and driver’s license number. Police citations do not include social security numbers.
The third and final community visioning public workshop about the Vision Tulsa project: Arena District Master Plan will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Tulsa Central Library Pocahontas Greadington Learning and Creativity Center (Lower Level 2), 400 Civic Center.
