Rivercross Hospice provides hospice services to terminally ill adults all throughout NE Oklahoma. One of the ways we do this is by finding caring and compassionate volunteers in out community to either spend time with our patients providing socialization and companionship or by sing their special skill to provide enrichment activities to them and their families.
Volunteers can:
Play cards and board games
Do art bedside
Push them in their wheelchair around the neighborhood
Document their life experiences
Licensed cosmetologists can cut and style their hair
Certified pet therapy animals can provide socialization
Photographers can capture their last family picture
Seamstresses can create a Memorial Bear for a widow
Painter can create greeting cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
