Municipal Courts

Due to the increase in Covid cases in Tulsa and the surrounding areas, the Tulsa Municipal Court is scaling back court operations to reduce the number of citizens in the courthouse.  The courthouse will remain open to all defendants, attorneys, and citizens who are seeking access. A cashier is located on site to accept payments Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. -5 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Visitors are required to wear a cloth face covering or mask when inside the courthouse. Visitors without cloth face covering or mask will be provided one.  

  1. All arraignments and conferences scheduled for December 11, 2020, through January 20, 2021, shall be passed for 60 days; however, a defendant, with or without an attorney, may proceed with their case as scheduled, at their request. | Schedule
  2. All nonjury trials and probation reviews shall continue as previously set.
  3. Defendants with preset tickets can call to request an extension of time for payment or appear at court and sign a plea and waiver form in order to make payment arrangements.
  4. December 8, 2020, through January 20, 2021, warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay will not be issued until after January 20, 2021.
  5. Jury Trial Sounding Docket set for January 7, 2021, is continued until April 1. No jury trials shall be conducted until after April 1, 2021.

Tulsa Municipal Courts are open, but Courthouse guests will be limited. Municipal Courts will be checking in guests and controlling the number of visitors entering the facility. Visitors are required to wear a cloth face covering or mask when inside the courthouse. Visitors without cloth face covering or mask will be provided one.

The Tulsa Municipal Court is a Court of Record, authorized under City Ordinance, with jurisdiction in the City of Tulsa. The Court is responsible for misdemeanor traffic, parking and criminal offenses; as well as code violations for health, fire, animal, and zoning violations.

New! Responsible Driver Waiver 

You can now request a on-street metered parking citation waiver if you park at an on-street parking meter and need to take alternate transportation (commercial or public) for safety reasons. If you leave your vehicle parked beyond the parking limit and receive a citation, you may request a dismissal as long as:
