Public Meetings Schedule for Draft Capital Improvements Funding
Tulsa residents are invited to attend one or more of five public
meetings to comment on a draft capital improvements funding
package. These meetings will be held in several areas of the city
to serve the different City Council districts. The draft proposal
includes capital improvement projects selected from among the needs
presented by City departments earlier this year.
The public meeting schedule is as follows:

July 16 - Hardesty

After public comments are received at the meetings, the capital
improvements funding package will be finalized and placed on a
ballot for voter consideration in November. Tulsa voters can choose
to approve funding for the selected capital improvement projects
through sales tax and general obligation bonds.
This new funding package will replace the previous 2008 Fix Our
Streets program, which expires in 2014. The 2008 package, which was
funded by a 1.167 percent sales tax and general obligation bonds,
went entirely toward fixing streets. The next package will continue
