The City of Tulsa is joining Housing Partnership Network (HPN) to host two virtual information sessions to provide developers, housing partners, and community stakeholders with details about funding opportunities available through the Improve Our Tulsa 3 housing monies that will be administered through the Tulsa Housing Impact Fund (THIF).
The sessions are designed to support affordable housing development and preservation projects across Tulsa, giving participants information about eligibility, application timelines, and how the funds can help accelerate housing projects in the city.

Background
In August 2023, Tulsa voters approved $75 million in housing funds as part of Improve Our Tulsa 3, a citywide infrastructure and community investment package funded by a sales tax extension. In November 2024, the Tulsa City Council provided guidance on how those housing dollars would be deployed:
Following a competitive process, the City selected HPN in August 2025 to administer $47 million of those funds, and a recent agreement on Jan. 28, 2026, formally allowed THIF to begin deploying the voter-approved housing funds.
Ultimately, THIF is designed as a public-private investment vehicle that can attract outside capital while ensuring the City’s dollars are deployed strategically and transparently. To date, THIF has received approximately $30 million in private commitments.
Tulsa continues to face a significant housing shortage. Several years ago, experts estimated the city needs roughly 13,000 additional homes and apartments. The initiative aligns with Mayor Nichols' goal of bringing 6,000 affordable housing units online by 2028 - recognition that housing is essential to economic growth, workforce stability, and long-term community well-being.
