City of Tulsa, Tulsa Arts Commission Announce Vision Arts 8 Grant Opportunity

11/5/2026

$150,000 Available to Support Innovative Arts and Cultural Projects Across Tulsa

The City of Tulsa’s Office of Public Art & Community Partnerships (OPACP), in partnership with the Tulsa Arts Commission, will launch the eighth cycle of Vision Arts grants on Nov. 1, 2026. Through this grant cycle, $150,000 will be awarded to support Tulsa's arts and cultural ecosystem. Emerging and established nonprofit organizations are invited to propose projects and programs that advance artistic innovation, engage communities, and contribute to the city's cultural and economic vitality.

Funded through the voter-approved Vision Tulsa initiative, Vision Arts provides annual investments in organizations, creative ideas, and cultural experiences that shape Tulsa. Vision Arts 8 welcomes proposals across artistic disciplines and organizational scales. The program encourages proposals that demonstrate artistic excellence, meaningful community engagement, and the potential to generate lasting cultural or economic benefits. Collaborative and interdisciplinary proposals are also welcome, particularly those that introduce new creative approaches, engage youth, activate neighborhoods, or bring arts experiences to communities with limited access to cultural programming.

"Vision Arts is an opportunity to invest in the imagination, talent, and ambition of Tulsa's creative community," said Sara Phoenix, Chair of the Tulsa Arts Commission. "We encourage both emerging and established organizations to bring forward compelling, innovative proposals that challenge expectations, create meaningful cultural experiences, and connect with communities in new ways. We want to support the ideas and organizations that will help shape the next chapter of Tulsa's arts and cultural landscape."

Eligibility and Funding

Eligible applicants include Tulsa-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and individuals or organizations working with an eligible Tulsa-based fiscal sponsor. Projects must take place within Tulsa city limits at ADA-compliant venues or sites.

Grants of up to $50,000 per project may support artist fees, production expenses, materials, public programming, and community engagement activities. Proposals should demonstrate alignment with Vision Tulsa's economic development objectives while contributing to the strength and diversity of Tulsa's cultural landscape.
