City of Tulsa Weather Update; Mohawk Park, Tulsa Zoo Closed

4/30/2025

Due to heavy rainfall, Mohawk Park and the Tulsa Zoo are closed for the day. Tulsa City Hall remains open, and all other City services are operating as normal at this time.

Streets Update
While there are no current street closures, City street crews have been on standby to watch for any possible flooding or hazards on the road.

Drivers are encouraged to be cautious. Temporary street flooding may occur during heavy rain while the stormwater system works to move rainwater away from roads. It's important to remember to not drive through standing water on the roadway; turn around, don't drown, and find an alternate route.

Now is also a good time to get to know the outdoor siren tone for flood warnings. While there is no such warning at this time, the three different tones can be heard at www.cityoftulsa.org/siren.

Tulsans are also encouraged to ensure they have multiple ways to receive emergency notifications. During times of heavy rainfall, make sure all devices are charged.
