Mayor Nichols, City Leaders to Host Final Community Conversation in North Tulsa on Monday

Due to Demand, the North Tulsa Community Conversation Has Moved to Crossover Community Impact, 1010 E. 36th St. N.
Following a strong turnout at the first four Community Conversations events in South, East, West and Midtown Tulsa, Mayor Monroe Nichols, members of the Tulsa City Council, and other City leaders will host the last event in the series in North Tulsa on Monday, May 19.
Following updates from City leaders, residents will have the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with City department leaders and staff.
The North Tulsa Community Conversation will be hosted by Mayor Monroe Nichols, District 1 City Councilor Vanessa Hall-Harper, District 3 City Councilor Jackie Dutton, and Tulsa City Auditor Nathan Pickard on Monday, May 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Crossover Community Impact, 1010 E. 36th St. N., Tulsa, OK, 74106.
"The future Tulsa we're building must be rooted in listening and lifting every voice, especially those who have too often gone unheard," Mayor Monroe Nichols said. "I’ve been honored to host our Community Conversation series and hope we will have a strong showing at our North Tulsa Community Conversation to gain further feedback as we work to strengthen our community together.”
"I'm excited to have yet another opportunity to engage with my constituents," Councilor Hall-Harper said. "Engaging with them is not just a privilege but also a vital part of understanding the needs and aspirations of the community."
"I am thrilled to have the chance to connect with the residents of Tulsa," Councilor Dutton said. "This opportunity to engage with my constituents is important, to better understand their concerns and hear their stories. Together we can make significant strides toward improving our community."
City staff present at the North Tulsa Conversation include:
- Beyond Apology Commission - Meet the commission members and get more information on the work they are doing for the community
- City Auditor– Meet Nathan Pickard and learn about the City Auditor’s Office
- City Council – Meet with District 1 Councilor Vanessa Hall-Harper and District 3 Councilor Jackie Dutton
- Customer Care – File a 311 report, get utility account information, and set up/disconnect/transfer service
- Development Services – Meet the Development Services team and get help with permitting or development questions
- Fire - Meet the firefighters who work in the area and get more information about the Tulsa Fire Department
- Finance- Ask questions about utility billing and more
- Human Resources – Learn about open jobs at the City of Tulsa
- Housing & Homelessness – Get the latest updates on the steps the City is taking to end homelessness and increase housing stock
- MetroLink Tulsa – Get information on the latest bus routes and services offered by MetroLink
- Municipal Court – Get information about court case(s) including how to pay a citation or clear a warrant
- Parks – Get information on current programming and seasonal job openings
- PartnerTulsa - Learn more about economic development in Tulsa and get the latest information on the Kirkpatrick Heights-Greenwood Master Plan
- Planning & Neighborhoods – Check the status of code enforcement cases, see Neighborhood Conditions Index (NCI) Reports for South Tulsa neighborhoods, and discuss any zoning questions
- Police – Meet the officers who work in the area and learn more about the Tulsa Police Department
- Public Works – See updated project maps and talk with streets and infrastructure teams
- Resilience & Equity – Learn about resilience initiatives, financial empowerment, Title V Commissions, and more
- Tulsa Animal Services - Get information about spaying and neutering, as well as volunteering and fostering
- Water & Sewer – Meet the water and sewer team and get help with related questions
