Mayor Nichols, City Leaders to Host Third Community Conversation Next Week: Event to be Held in West Tulsa on Monday, May 5

Series to bring City Hall to your neighborhood for updates and one-on-one conversations
Following a strong turnout at the first two Community Conversations events in South and East Tulsa, Mayor Monroe Nichols, members of the Tulsa City Council, and other City leaders will continue the series in West Tulsa on Monday.
During each event, residents will hear brief updates from the Mayor, City Council and other City leaders, followed by an opportunity for one-on-one conversations with City department leaders and staff.
The West Tulsa Community Conversation be hosted by Mayor Monroe Nichols, District 2 Councilor Anthony Archie, and other City leaders on Monday, May 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Dream Center West Campus, 4122 W. 55th Pl., Tulsa, OK, 74107.
"West Tulsa is a community shaped by its historic ties to Route 66 and the strength of its close-knit neighborhoods," Mayor Nichols said. "While I'm proud of the turnout at our first two community conversations, I am just as eager to hear from the residents of West Tulsa as we work to create a bright path forward for every resident in our city."
"Mayor Nichols and I share a commitment to connecting residents to the resources at City Hall," said Councilor Archie. "The west side is a special place and we're looking forward to this conversation."
City staff present at the West Tulsa Conversation include:
- City Auditor's Office – Learn about the City Auditor’s Office
- City Council – Meet with Councilor Anthony Archie of District 2 and other Council staff
- Customer Care – File a 311 report, get utility account information, and set up/disconnect/transfer service
- Development Services – Meet the Development Services team and get help with permitting or development questions
- Fire - Meet the firefighters who work in the area and get more information about the Tulsa Fire Department
- Finance - Ask questions about utility billing and more
- Human Resources – Learn about open jobs at the City of Tulsa
- Housing & Homelessness – Get the latest updates on the steps the City is taking to end homelessness and increase housing stock
- MetroLink Tulsa – Get information on the latest bus routes and services offered by MetroLink
- Municipal Court – Get information about court case(s) including how to pay a citation or clear a warrant
- Parks – Get information on current programming and seasonal job openings
- Planning & Neighborhoods – Check the status of code enforcement cases, see Neighborhood Conditions Index (NCI) Reports for South Tulsa neighborhoods, and discuss any zoning questions
- Police – Meet the officers who work in the area and learn more about the Tulsa Police Department
- Public Works – See updated project maps and talk with streets and infrastructure teams
- Resilience & Equity – Learn about resilience initiatives, financial empowerment, Title V Commissions, and more
- Tulsa Animal Services - Get information about spaying and neutering, as well as volunteering and fostering
Water & Sewer – Meet the water and sewer team and get help with related questions
The Community Conversations series will continue in Midtown and North Tulsa through May 19. While all meetings are open to the public, residents are encouraged to attend the event closest to where they live.
