Private Work to Narrow Lanes at Three Locations Beginning Monday

Beginning Monday, July 6, drivers can expect lanes to begin narrowing at several locations across Tulsa as private utility-related projects are completed.

The following traffic impacts are anticipated:

• East 2nd Street between South Elgin and South Kenosha Avenues: Eastbound lanes will be narrowed until July 17.
• East 36th Street from South Utica to South Wheeling Avenues: Westbound lanes will be narrowed until July 10.
• South Lewis Avenue from East 47th Street to East 45th Place: Northbound lanes will be narrowed until July 9.

Drivers should expect traffic delays in these areas and are encouraged to use caution, follow all posted traffic signage, and allow extra time when traveling through work zones.
