Tulsa Winter Weather Update Feb. 4 – 8:55 a.m.

Overnight and this morning, City of Tulsa street crews continued team snow plowing the arterial roads. As the sun comes up, crews will resume salt application to expedite the melting process. City equipment remains in great shape and treatment materials remain in good supply.

South Yale Avenue, East 81st Street to East 91st Street, to Reopen for Through Traffic July 27

South Yale Avenue between East 81st Street and East 91st Street, under construction for widening from two to six lanes, is scheduled to reopen to through traffic on Wednesday, July 27. One lane will be open in each direction until construction progresses to allow more lanes to open.

City Continues 1921 Graves Investigation at Oaklawn Cemetery with Plans to Begin Third Full Excavation; Site Preparation to Begin Tuesday, Sept. 5

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, the City will announce plans to start the third excavation at Oaklawn Cemetery as part of the 1921 Graves Investigation. Site preparation will last a few days, and when complete, the full excavation will start.

Next Improve Our Tulsa Renewal Town Hall Meeting to be Held Tuesday, April 16

The second of five citywide town hall meetings scheduled for discussion about renewing Improve Our Tulsa will be held Tuesday, April 16, at 6 p.m. in the Lewis and Clark Elementary School auditorium, 737 S. Garnett Road. Spanish language interpreters will be available at the meeting.

City Hall and City Facilities Closed for Memorial Day - May 2023

City Hall, Municipal Court, and other City facilities will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023, in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume regular hours on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
