Council Approves Mask Resolution Encouraging Mask-Wearing, Vaccination; Mayor and Council to Discuss City Employee Vaccine Stipend

Wednesday evening, the Tulsa City Council approved a resolution encouraging mask-wearing in Tulsa (in accordance with CDC guidance), and vaccination for Tulsans ages 12 and up. The resolution, which was passed with an emergency clause, will take effect immediately following Mayor G.T. Bynum’s signature.

Help beautify your city and stop litter from polluting our creeks, streams, parks, and illegal dump sites. In honor of Earth Day, the City of Tulsa will host, “The Great Tulsa Clean Up,” throughout the month of April.

Nine City Councilors and the City Auditor were sworn-in today during a ceremony at the University of Tulsa's Lorton Performance Center. City Auditor Cathy Criswell is serving her fourth term and four new City Councilors began their first two-year term in office.
