City to Partner with Reed Community Foundation to Revitalize Ben Hill Community Center

The City of Tulsa and the Reed Community Foundation are partnering together to revitalize the Ben Hill Community Center located at 210 E. Latimer Pl. in Tulsa. Ben Hill Community Center, once slated for demolition due to disrepair, will be remodeled and accommodate programming by the Reed Community Foundation.

City Officials Celebrate the Unveiling of Fire Station 33

Saturday, September 17, Mayor G.T. Bynum, Fire Chief Michael Baker, and Tulsa City Councilors celebrated the unveiling of Fire Station 33, 4109 S. 134th East Ave., with a special hose uncoupling ceremony.

City Hall, Other Facilities to Close Monday for Memorial Day 2021

City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed Monday, May 31, for Memorial Day. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Mayor Launches Tulsa Pay Equity Pledge; Tulsa Employers Encouraged to Follow Suit

Wednesday morning, Mayor G.T. Bynum launched the Tulsa Pay Equity Pledge. Created in partnership with the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women, the Mayor’s Pay Equity Pledge is a voluntary, employer-led initiative to close the gender pay gap in the city of Tulsa.

USA BMX to Open Headquarters and Facilities in Historic Greenwood District in 2019; Signs Agreement to Stay in Tulsa for Next 30 Years

Mayor G.T. Bynum announced the City of Tulsa and USA BMX have reached an agreement to secure a 30-year commitment in Tulsa. Through funding provided by voters in Vision Tulsa, the City will construct a new National Headquarters, National Track Stadium containing both an Olympic-caliber and Amateur Track, and Hall of Fame Museum at the Evans Fintube site in Tulsa.

“Stock the Station” Food Drive Kicks Off Nov. 7

The City of Tulsa will kick-off its 12th Annual Stock the Station Food Drive on Monday, Nov. 7, to help Tulsans in need this holiday season. Residents can drop off non-perishable food items to any Tulsa Fire station, Tulsa Police station, and Tulsa City-County Regional Library from Nov. 7 - Dec. 9.
