Ransomware Update June 22 – Tulsa Police Citations Posted on Dark Web; Tulsa Residents Should Take Necessary Precautions

Tuesday, the City of Tulsa was made aware the persons responsible for the May 2021 City of Tulsa ransomware attack shared more than 18,000 City files via the dark web mostly in the form of police citations and internal department files. Police citations contain some Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as name, date of birth, address and driver’s license number. Police citations do not include social security numbers.

Town Hall Meetings Scheduled for Improve Our Tulsa Renewal

Five citywide town hall meetings have been scheduled for presentations, citizens’ questions and comments about the Improve Our Tulsa renewal, scheduled for a vote on Nov. 12. “Improve Our Tulsa is our basic streets and infrastructure program, and because of voter support for it in 2013 we’ve made critical progress in rehabilitating our roads after decades of neglect - but there is much more work to do,” Mayor G.T. We have kicked-off our 9th Annual Stock the Station Food Drive that will help Tulsans in need this holiday season. The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma (CFBEO) will be the recipient of food and donations collected by the food drive and will be able to deliver goods to 111 Partner Programs located in Tulsa proper. Residents can drop-off non-perishable food items to any Tulsa Fire Station, Tulsa Police Station, Tulsa City-County Regional Library or Tulsa City Hall from Nov. 12 - Dec. 13.
