The State of Oklahoma Archaeological Survey (OAS) based at the University of Oklahoma, has completed the geophysical and scanning work at two of the three sites that were originally identified for initial scanning based on data and historian reports from the 2001 State Commissioned Report of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

Tulsa is facing a significant housing shortage. Studies, such as the Tulsa Housing Study, indicate that Tulsa needs to develop nearly 13,000 new housing units over the next ten years. This demand is particularly acute for affordable housing, with a shortfall of 6,000 units.
The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development announced the City of Tulsa has published a new Guide to Doing Business in Tulsa, available in both English and Spanish. The guide is the result of efforts by the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and the Economic Development Commission (EDC) to provide additional resources to existing and potential new businesses.

The auction will be held Saturday, April 27, at the City of Tulsa surplus property facility, 108 N. Trenton Ave., beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The free pet vaccination clinic that had been scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8, has been rescheduled for Jan. 12, 2019, at Hicks Park, 3443 S. Mingo Rd. Free vaccinations will be available for dogs and cats from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., or while supplies last.
