Microchip Scanner Program: Helping Lost Pets Get Home Faster

Tulsa Animal Services and the Tulsa Fire Department have partnered to launch a new microchip scanner program designed to reunite lost pets with their families more quickly.

Be A Hero - Help Us Expand Amenities At Our New Shelter

The City of Tulsa has partnered with the Tulsa Community Foundation for the creation of a $1 million endowment fund to provide permanent financial support for Tulsa Animal Services, along with the launch of “Be a Hero, Tulsa!,” a community-wide campaign challenging Tulsans to match that commitment by raising an additional $1 million or more.

The campaign will use all monies raised to enhance the new shelter’s amenities and support pet education and outreach programs.

Spay and Neuter

When you adopt a pet through the Tulsa Animal Services, the cost of spaying and neutering is included. City Ordinance requires all dogs and cats over the age of six months be spayed or neutered. Certain exemptions are allowed by permit. By law, every dog and cat adopted from our shelter has to be spayed or neutered.
