Do you have a few hours a week to make a big difference in our community? The City is launching a new Volunteer School Crossing Guard Program - and we’re looking for caring employees who want to help keep students safe on their way to and from school.

Volunteers will serve at schools where additional crossing guard support is needed. The commitment is just two hours a week, and all training, safety gear, and support are provided. This volunteer opportunity is available through Personnel Policies and Procedures - Section 318, along with supervisor approval. A background check is required.

Whether you’re a parent, or simply someone who enjoys helping others, this is a rewarding opportunity to be part of something that truly matters - keeping our kids safe.

If you’re ready to step up and lend a hand, visit Service Desk Plus, enter "Crossing Guard Volunteer" into the search bar, then complete and submit the form

Together, we can make every school crossing a safe one!
