Working with the City of Tulsa's Information Technology Department, the Equipment Management Division (EMD) created a space where EMD customers can view the repair status of their fleet units. For each fleet unit, the Service Board displays the corresponding work order number(s), shop location where unit is being repaired, and the repair status. The Service Board identifies completed jobs and displays which fleet units are on the ready line.
How Does it Work?
Up-to-date work order data from the M5 fleet management system is uploaded to the online Service Board every five minutes. Users gain access to the Service Board to learn the repair status of their units. The search tool on the Service Board allows EMD customers to search repair status information by unit number, shop location, and department. Users can also search for groups of units.
