We are happy to announce that our community and specialty centers are reopened, as of June 1, 2020. However, centers have temporarily limited their hours and programs as well as implemented updated health and safety policies. Please see information below for updates specific to Reed Park Community Center.

Our Park & Facility

Here to serve West Tulsa neighborhoods and Tulsans across our community, Reed Park & Community Center has outdoor facilities to enjoy, including a pool, sports courts, disc golf, playgrounds and picnic areas; as well as indoor facilities with state-of-the-art gymnastics gym, arts & crafts, social activities, education programs, holiday & special events, sports & fitness areas.

**Please note: our gymnasium is closed for repairs. It will reopen sometime during the fall of 2020. We apologize for the inconvenience.***

Our Programming

Classes, activities, events, meetings and programs are scheduled throughout the year based on the season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our current programming through the end of the year is limited and we have updated rules and guidelines in place for specific programs.

Please note: A 25% additional fee will be assessed for non-residents of the City of Tulsa, and all patrons ages 10 and over must obtain a FREE Tulsa Parks ID card to participate in activities at any Tulsa Parks Community Center. Please ask recreation staff for more details.

Fitness, Sports & Open Gym

  • Fitness Room (Ages 16+)
    • Available anytime during open business hours
    • Cost:
      • $2 Drop-in Visit | 10, 30 & Senior Visit Passes available
    • Please note: the fitness room will be closed every 2 hours for daily, mandatory cleaning and sanitizing.
    • Guidelines for fitness room after checking in:
      • Mask may be removed for physical activity.
      • Wash and sanitize hands frequently.
      • Wipe down equipment before and after each use.
      • Maximum 6 people in each room at a time.
      • Maintain 6 ft physical distancing.
      • Showers will not be available at this time
      • Workouts will be limited to 30 minutes if others are waiting
  • Gymnastics
    • Days & times dependent on class/team enrolled in.
      • View classes and enroll online
    • Guidelines for fitness room after checking in:
      • Drop-offs for athletes are highly encouraged due to social distancing restrictions.
      • Everyone is required to sanitize their hands before entering the gym and wear a mask.
      • Gym seating will be limited and only one adult per athlete is allowed during class sessions.
      • Mask may be removed only for physical activity. Those watching class must wear a mask.
      • Wash and sanitize hands frequently.
      • Wipe down equipment before and after each use.
      • Maintain 6 ft physical distancing.
      • Showers will not be available at this time
  • Martial Arts
    • A Variety of Programs Offered:
      • Traditional Japanese martial arts for adults (15+)
      • Basic martial art program for children (6+)
      • Light Saber martial arts for all ages.

    • Strong Nation Class Mondays 6-7 p.m.

    • Class Costs: $6 Drop-In Class | $25 for 8 Classes | $60 for 20 Visits | $30 for Monthly Pass

Arts, Nature, Games, Hobbies & Community Programs

  • Outdoor Archery Classes (Ages 8+)
    • Wednesdays, Sep. 9-30 & Oct. 7-28 | 5:30-6:30 p.m.
    • Cost: $20 for residents / $25 for non-residents

  • Belly Dancing Classes (Ages 15+)
    • Tuesdays 6-7 p.m. &  Saturdays 9-11 a.m.
    • Costs: $5/$7 Drop-In Class | $20/$25 for 4 Classes | $30/$40 for 8 Classes

Homeschool Programs

Here are some great opportunities to supplement your home-school or virtual-learning curriculum that gets kids out of the house and provides in-person, hands-on activities that support fitness and learning.

We have the following programs available:

  • Fall Fitness Fun: This personalized fitness challenge class includes strength training, balance, endurance, flexibility, games and obstacle courses.
  • S.T.E.M. Exploration: Come explore the exciting world of S.T.E.M. We will be doing a different activity every week. This class has a variety of hands-on science and engineering experiments that are sure to captivate both young and older children.
  • Homeschool Art Projects: Practice drawing, painting, clay, and more with Artist Kenneth Wilson, who will guide your child through the wonderful world of art. Each week we will either start a new project or complete the previous week’s project.

Educational activities sessions are suitable for ages 6-12.

We hold multiple 4-week sessions that are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 -2 p.m. Students will rotate between 45 minutes of fitness activities and 45 minutes of S.T.E.M. activities on Tuesdays and art projects on Thursdays.

Session Dates: September 8 -October 1 | October 6-29 | November 3-December 3(No classes October 15 or November 24-26)

Days & Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12:30-2 p.m. (Two 45 minute activities)
