City Hall and other City facilities will be closed Friday, July 3, to observe the Independence Day holiday – since July 4 will be a Saturday. Also, Thursday, July 2, will be the City of Tulsa’s furlough afternoon, with the same closures in effect as on furlough Fridays.
City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed Monday, May 31, for Memorial Day. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water – (918) 596-9488, and sewer – (918) 586-6999. As a part of Mayor G.T. Bynum’s Comprehensive Animal Welfare Reform Plan, Tulsa Animal Welfare (TAW) announced the extension of its shelter hours starting Sunday, July 21. Animal Welfare will extend its Saturday hours and open on Sundays.
