Tulsa Water Wins Taste Contest at State Conference; 2023 Water Quality Report Available with Utility Bills or Online

Tulsa’s water won the Oklahoma Water Taste Contest last week in Norman at the annual conference of the Oklahoma Water Environment Association/American Public Works Association. This win allows Tulsa’s water to advance to the next contest at the Southwest American Water Works Association conference in Lafayette, La., in October. If Tulsa water wins that contest, it would be qualified to enter the national contest in Anaheim, Calif., in June 2024.

The Public Oversight Committee for the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Graves Investigation will meet on Monday, Feb. 3, 5:30 p.m. at Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N. Hartford Ave., to further develop next steps of the 1921 graves physical investigation. (Please note the meeting was moved to Rudisill Regional Library from Greenwood Cultural Center.)

The City of Tulsa is still trying to increase storage tank levels due to the amount of water being lost throughout the water system and continues to implement operational changes necessary to replenish storage tank levels. Residents are asked to continue to conserve water until the water situation fully stabilizes.
