Water Distribution Develops Valve Program, Uses Data to Make More Informed Decisions

It’s been one year since Water Distribution implemented its Valve Program, and the City is now in the process of obtaining data on all of the valves in the city – data that tells us what assets are in excellent, good, fair and poor condition so crews can make the most informed decisions regarding the management of Tulsa’s water assets.

City to Host Equity Dialogues Through June 2023

As part of the Resilient Tulsa Strategy, the Mayor’s Office of Resilience and Equity will host a round of Equity Dialogues through early June to further encourage meaningful conversations to bring better understanding and unity among Tulsans from different backgrounds.

Special Greenwaste Collection Scheduled for Residents Affected by May 21 and May 26 Wind Event.

The City’s Streets and Stormwater crews will begin a special greenwaste collection for two areas within Tulsa affected by the wind events in Tulsa.

Help Trap the Grease! City and the M.e.t. to Collect Cooking Oil for Disposal on Saturday, Nov. 28

Following the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Tulsa, in partnership with the M.e.t., will collect and dispose of leftover and used cooking oils such as peanut, canola and vegetable oil. This event will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the M.e.t. Depot at 3495 S. Sheridan Road.
