Construction of Mingo Creek Trail between E 41st St and E 51st St

Construction of the Mingo Creek Trail between East 41st Street and East 51st Street is scheduled to begin on Monday, Feb. 18. The trail will extend from East 41st Street near South 102nd East Avenue to East 51st Street near South 103rd East Avenue.

Wednesday morning, Mayor G.T. Bynum launched the Tulsa Pay Equity Pledge. Created in partnership with the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women, the Mayor’s Pay Equity Pledge is a voluntary, employer-led initiative to close the gender pay gap in the city of Tulsa.

Tulsa Maintains Class 2 Rating in National Flood Insurance Program

The City of Tulsa has maintained its Class 2 rating in the National Flood Insurance Program’s Community Rating System, a voluntary program in which communities that go beyond the minimum floodplain management requirements earn flood insurance discounts for residents. The Federal Emergency Management Agency in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security administers the program.
