City of Tulsa and Tulsa County Partner for Municipal Jail Overflow

City and County officials have reached an agreement to allow the City of Tulsa to use the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center, 300 N. Denver Ave., as an overflow site for the city-run jail facility as needed for overflow. The agreement is through June 2022.

The Keystone Dam release rate is gradually decreasing and at 11 am. this morning, the release rate from Keystone Dam is 190,000 cubic feet per second. The levee system continues to be the primary focus for emergency personnel as the levee system is oversaturated with water and has been holding historic levels of water for more than a week. The levee system continues to be monitored 24/7. Residents living behind the levees and evacuees from behind the levees need to remain vigilant.

Grants Administration Seeking Volunteer Grant Evaluators

Volunteers are needed to assist in the review of HUD grant applications. Applicants will need to participate in one hour of training and then will evaluate approximately three different proposals, requiring 1-2 hours each for evaluation.
