The City of Tulsa is currently helping with damage assessment following a possible tornado that touched down in North Tulsa this morning.
Friday, the City of Tulsa has lifted its voluntary boil order and is no longer asking its water customers to conserve water. Malone Center offers the surrounding neighborhood and community a place to come together for healthy exercise, recreation and community enrichment. The Jane A. Malone Center includes a weight room, gym with a full-size basketball court and bleachers, an arts and craft room, kitchen, a multi-purpose room, and a separate annex building with kitchenette and bathrooms.

Water and Sewer crews are on 24/7 operations as they respond to the record number of waterline breaks occurring in Tulsa as a result of the extremely cold temperatures. Join Tulsa Fire this week as they recognize Fire Prevention Week. Firefighters will be visiting local schools to talk with kids about the importance of fire safety and host a poster contest for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Winners will win a ride to school in a fire truck. On Thursday, five stations will be hosting open houses for residents.

Each year in the month of August, Tulsa utility customers have the option to change their enrollment status in the EMSAcare program. They may choose to opt in or opt out of the program. EMSAcare is a subscription program by EMSA (Emergency Medical Services Authority) that covers the costs of emergency medical ambulance transport for all permanent members of households that participate in the program. EMSAcare subscribers either with or without health insurance pay no additional out-of-pocket costs – such as co-payments or deductibles – for emergency ambulance services.
