Rivercross Hospice provides hospice services to terminally ill adults all throughout NE Oklahoma.
CNA, a nationally-accredited 21st century policing firm, has named the four co-researchers to help facilitate their plan to advance community policing within the Tulsa Police Department. Working with the firm’s project team, co-researchers will dedicate at least 10-15 hours a month to the project, participate in virtual meetings, identify community stakeholders for feedback, give input and help conduct focus groups and interviews with community members. The final recommendation and evaluation will be completed in the Fall of 2021.
Wednesday evening, the Tulsa City Council approved a resolution encouraging mask-wearing in Tulsa (in accordance with CDC guidance), and vaccination for Tulsans ages 12 and up. The resolution, which was passed with an emergency clause, will take effect immediately following Mayor G.T. Bynum’s signature.

On Thursday, the Secret Service asked the City of Tulsa and the Tulsa Police Department to put in place a curfew for the Federal Exclusion Zone near the BOK Center. Today, the Secret Service asked the City to lift the curfew order this weekend. In compliance with this request, the City has rescinded the order.
In early 2018, prior to the initial release of the Equality Indicators Report and Resilient Tulsa Strategy, the Tulsa Police Department partnered with national research experts to begin a comprehensive study titled, A Multi-Method Investigation of Officer Decision-Making and Force Used or Avoided in Arrest Situations, to examine Tulsa Police arrests and use of force decisions.
Crews are working to conduct stormwater repairs at E. 14th St. and S. Utica Ave. During this time, Utica will be limited to one lane in each direction. Work is expected to be finished, with all lanes open, by Monday, April 8.
