Tuesday afternoon, Mayor G.T. Bynum unveiled Resilient Tulsa, a new approach to address the city’s most pressing and interconnected challenges. The result of extensive consultation with stakeholders from across the city, and developed with financial and technical backing from 100 Resilient Cities – Pioneered by The Rockefeller Foundation (100RC), the Resilience Strategy puts forth a framework for creating an equitable city and center of opportunity for Tulsans new and old.

To date, the Tulsa Health Department (THD) has confirmed 44,433 positive COVID-19 cases in Tulsa County. 38,582 residents have recovered and 351 have died.
To provide more accessibility and convenience for those with municipal citations, Tulsa Municipal Court will start Thursday Night Court starting September 7, 2023. During Thursday Night Court, Tulsa Municipal Court hours will extend its hours until 7 p.m. to accommodate individuals with obligations during regular court hours who may find it challenging to appear for their citations.

In Tulsa, the City’s Water & Sewer Department is responsible for the lifecycle of Tulsa’s water, which begins at area lakes, continues with treatment and distribution to customers, and finishes at Tulsa’s sewer collection system where the wastewater is treated before being discharged back into area rivers – all while being tested and monitored numerous times throughout the process.

Friday, May 20, Mayor Bynum issued a new Executive Order ending the civil emergency in the City of Tulsa related to COVID-19.
City crews are treating arterial streets in response to the snow Sunday morning. If you have to drive, please take caution by making sure all windows are cleared, slowing down, and leaving plenty of room between you and other vehicles.
