Initiative to Encourage Rescue Organizations to Take Medium-Sized, Mixed Breed Dogs for the Purpose of Adoption/Transport
Wednesday evening, the Tulsa City Council approved a resolution encouraging mask-wearing in Tulsa (in accordance with CDC guidance), and vaccination for Tulsans ages 12 and up. The resolution, which was passed with an emergency clause, will take effect immediately following Mayor G.T. Bynum’s signature.

Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Each year in the month of August, Tulsa utility customers have the option to change their enrollment status in the EMSAcare program. They may choose to opt in or opt out of the program. EMSAcare is a subscription program by EMSA (Emergency Medical Services Authority) that covers the costs of emergency medical ambulance transport for all permanent members of households that participate in the program. EMSAcare subscribers either with or without health insurance pay no additional out-of-pocket costs – such as co-payments or deductibles – for emergency ambulance services.
Tulsa Municipal Court is offering an amnesty session for citizens who have outstanding moving violation citations. The amnesty session falls in line with the Resilient Tulsa Strategy, which helps equip all Tulsans with resources to overcome barriers to thrive. Moving violation amnesty begins Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, and ends Friday, March 6, 2020.

The City of Tulsa will host the 2019 Request-for-Proposal (RFP) Workshops for agencies interested in applying for any of the federal programs listed below. Attendance at one of these workshops is mandatory in order to apply.
