It is the intent of the City of Tulsa to make available information regarding Public Improvement Projects to all interested parties. Construction Projects for the City of Tulsa are advertised publicly through the Tulsa World every Friday for six business days unless specified otherwise.
The City of Tulsa requires General / Prime Contractors to be Prequalified according to Title 11 Chapter 11 of the City of Tulsa Ordinances. If not clearly stated in the Notice to Bidders, pre-qualifications are not required. Prequalified Contractors must carry at least one of the following pre-qualifications:
A - General
B - Building Construction
C - Paving and Bridge Construction
D - Utility Construction
S - General / Specialty Classification
All General / Prime Contractors must be bonded.
Forms:
Sealed bids are received every Friday by 8:30 a.m. at the City Clerk's Office, 175 East 2nd Street, Room 260. Bids are opened publicly on Friday mornings at 9 a.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall. Bids received more than 96 hours before the time set for opening of bids will not be considered. It is the bidder's responsibility to verify and acknowledge receipt of all addenda for contract documents. The City of Tulsa reserves the right to decline the responsibility of verification.
