CNA, a nationally-accredited 21st century policing firm, has named the four co-researchers to help facilitate their plan to advance community policing within the Tulsa Police Department. Record Number of Capital Project Contracts Bid in 2020

Capital project construction contracts bid from April through mid-October 2020 broke a record for the City of Tulsa: 64 contracts valued at a total of $239.9 million. Restore Hope Ministries has been selected by the City of Tulsa and Tulsa County as the lead agency to administer $19.6 million in critical federal funding to provide much needed rent and utility relief to Tulsa City and County residents. The Emergency Rental and Utility Assistance Program (ERAP), under guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, will help landlords and tenants by paying past due rent, utilities (water, gas, and electric) and, in some cases, forward rent for up to three months to ensure housing stability.

1921 Graves Scanning Complete at Newblock and Oaklawn Sites

The State of Oklahoma Archaeological Survey (OAS) based at the University of Oklahoma, has completed the geophysical and scanning work at two of the three sites that were originally identified for initial scanning based on data and historian reports from the 2001 State Commissioned Report of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.
