City Surplus Property Auction Set for Saturday, Nov. 9

Six-hundred old parking meters, almost 150 vehicles – the most ever at a City of Tulsa auction, plus concessions and catering equipment from the BOK Center and Cox Business Center will be among the many items up for bids at the next City of Tulsa Surplus Property Auction. The auction will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at the City of Tulsa surplus property facility, 108 N. Trenton Ave., beginning at 9:30 a.m.

EPA Announces Tulsa Will Receive $500K Brownfields Grant

Environmental Protection Agency Region 6 officials came to town today to announce that Tulsa has been awarded a $500,000 Brownfield cleanup grant to remove asbestos from a vacant portion of City-owned Air Force Plant 3. The facility currently houses Navistar, Spirit Aerosystems and Nordam. This cleanup will allow for expansion at this facility and creation of new jobs.

City Offices Close Wednesday, November 11 for Veterans Day

City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day.

City Hall Public Areas to Remain Closed on Good Friday

City Hall public areas and Tulsa Municipal Court will remain closed on Good Friday, April 10, during the citywide Safer at Home Executive Order from Mayor G.T. Bynum. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal.
