Start spring cleaning by ridding your home of chemicals and potentially hazardous items. A Household Pollutant Disposal Special Event is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City of Tulsa’s Household Pollutant Collection Facility, 4502 S. Galveston Ave. In addition to the usually accepted items, special items accepted only at this event are tires, e-waste (television - $21 fee; monitor - $10 fee), medications and ammunition. No appointment is necessary for the special event.
The City of Tulsa, Mayor G.T. Bynum and IC Bus announced that a new 20-year agreement has been reached to keep the IC Bus school bus manufacturing facility at Tulsa International Airport. The City of Tulsa has received reports of individuals claiming to be Tulsa Police Officers and employees from the City of Tulsa offering incorrect information regarding the Keystone Dam discharge levels and telling individuals they must evacuate. These are not official statements and employees are not canvassing Tulsa neighborhoods.
We need a driver to help our women get to their appointments. We have a ministry vehicle for volunteers to use.
