Team snow plowing continues this morning following overnight snowfall, with City of Tulsa street crews working to get the remaining snow off the main roadways in preparation for more snowfall later today and tonight.

The City of Tulsa is preparing for winter weather and extremely cold temperatures expected on Thursday. Street crews are applying brine (water/salt mixture) today on bridges, hills and other elevated surfaces. Morning shift crews will report to work at 3 a.m. tomorrow to be available to treat the roads as needed with salt.

City Issues Voluntary Boil Order Advisory -2-19-21

After talking with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ), the City of Tulsa has issued a voluntary boil order until further notice for Tulsa water customers who have experienced low water pressure, are seeing discolored water, and those who have recently had water service restored after their water was shutoff for waterline repairs.
