Mayor G.T. Bynum and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust signed an agreement creating an historic partnership that will allow for the future growth of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center (PAC) while creating an enhanced experience for PAC visitors.
The test excavation to uncover potential mass graves from the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre within the Sexton area at Oaklawn Cemetery, where an anomaly was previously discovered, concluded today. Following eight days of searching, findings indicate no evidence of human remains are present in the excavation area.
The City of Tulsa will have crews reporting to work at 5 a.m. tomorrow to respond to the forecasted weather in the morning. Crews plan to work the morning event until it is over. Tomorrow night at midnight, the City of Tulsa will have brine crews addressing any areas needing additional treatment. There is also a forecast of snow on Saturday (approx. 1-inch) and the City will have crews available for that event to respond.
