Day 11 of the formal exhumation process at Oaklawn Cemetery continues as crews work to carefully uncover burials and safely transport remains to the on-site lab for analysis. To date, the team has discovered 28 burials and the exhumation began last week.

Today, municipalities in Tulsa County received a major disaster declaration from FEMA to help residents financially impacted by recent weather events.
This morning, the City of Tulsa is continuing with snow removal and road treatment operations. Because certain crews are being relegated to snow and ice response, Bulky Waste pick-ups will be delayed by one week. Dead animal pick-up and illegal dumping operations will continue as normal, and the Mulch Site will remain open. Refuse and recycling pick-up is scheduled for Friday, but service evaluations are ongoing.
