Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to accidental poisoning, overdose and abuse. A prescription drug take-back event is scheduled for residents to properly dispose of unwanted medications and prescription drugs on Saturday, October 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at several Tulsa area locations.

Recent winter weather, freezing temperatures, and heavy rains have caused an uptick in potholes around Tulsa. In less than one minute, anyone can report potholes in the city of Tulsa at any time of the day by using the Tulsa 311 app. Pothole reporting is one of the first things you'll see on the main page. Alternatively, Tulsans can also report potholes by emailing the pothole's exact location and other important details to tulsa311@cityoftulsa.org. For those with an account at Tulsa311.com, potholes may also be reported online through that system. Please note, all highway and on/off-ramp road repairs are the responsibility of ODOT.

Malone Center offers the surrounding neighborhood and community a place to come together for healthy exercise, recreation and community enrichment. The Jane A. Malone Center includes a weight room, gym with a full-size basketball court and bleachers, an arts and craft room, kitchen, a multi-purpose room, and a separate annex building with kitchenette and bathrooms.
Lacy Park Community Center features a state-of-the-art fitness center; multi-purpose rooms used for dance classes, social activities, education programs, holiday and special events; as well as full gymnasium. While Lacy Park outdoors has a full recreational pool, splash pad, baseball diamond, playground, basketball court and tennis courts.

The Path to Home Initiative is a central source for all programming as it relates to homelessness, housing, and mental health within the City of Tulsa.
The free pet vaccination clinic that had been scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8, has been rescheduled for Jan. 12, 2019, at Hicks Park, 3443 S. Mingo Rd. Free vaccinations will be available for dogs and cats from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., or while supplies last.

Mayor Bynum delivered his State of the City address in Downtown Tulsa to more than 1,000 people as part of the Tulsa Regional Chamber Luncheon. During his speech, Mayor Bynum highlighted the many economic development and quality of life successes from this past year and announced new initiatives planned to further make Tulsa a globally competitive, world-class city by creating a safe community and creating opportunity for all.
Mayor G. T. Bynum and the Mass Graves Investigation Public Oversight Committee will hold its first public meeting on Thursday, June 27, 5:30 p.m. at the 36th Street Event Center, 1125 E. 36th St. N., to discuss plans to begin the investigative process into the potential mass graves search from the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The first meeting was originally scheduled in May but had to be rescheduled due to severe weather in Tulsa.
Family Interviewers have the opportunity to work directly with the families in crisis to determine their needs and to provide them with available items.
